Vampire Movies (Full List and reviews)

I haven't seen that many vampire movies and I can't remember most of some of the ones I have seen, but heres my current list anyway:

Queen of the Damned = This is one of my all time favourite movies ever! Everything about it is awesome, awesome acting, great storyline, great special effects, awesome music, awesome everything, I strongly recommend checking this film out, its about the Vampire Le'stat who wakes up in modern times and makes a band and annoys all the other vampires and wakes the Queen of the Damned which then results in some amazing fight scenes and some other awesome special effects that will blow your mind!

Interview with a Vampire = This is an awesome film too, great acting, great storyline, great special effects, it is about a man who becomes a vampire after meeting the Vampire Le'Stat and the film is basically the man's journey through the world and how he copes with vampirism and who he meets in the process, it is an amazing film with some awesome fight scenes and a great story behind it

Van Helsing = This was an alright film, slightly cheesey in my eyes, but good none-the-less, its about a mythical creature hunter called Van Helsing who is hired to kill the almost immortal Count Dracula, the film is basically how he attempts it and what obstacles he faces on the way, the acting is good, the storyline is good, and the special effects are amazing

Salem's lot (the new one) = It's a relatively good film with a good storyline, its basically about a place called Salem's lot which is infested with vampires, the story basically tells of how a few people face off with the vampires in an attempt to save the town and themselves, its got a good amount of action in it and in my eyes is a pretty good film, good acting, good special effects and a good storyline

From Dusk Till Dawn = This film is about a kidnapping that goes horribly wrong, the kidnappers take their hostages to mexico and they go to a bar, but the bar is full of vampires, and they have to fight through the night alongside the other bar patrons to try to survive, its a good film packed with action and a good storyline, the acting is good, the special effects are alright and the storyline is good and it has a good amount of gore and a little black comedy

The Lost Boys = This film is about a family who move to a new place, the older son wants to fit in with a gang of local boys but they turn out to be vampires, he undergoes the transformation to fit in but ends up regretting it, at the end there is a massive fight where he must kill the head vampire if he stands any hope of returning to how he was, its a good film with an alright storyline and alright special effects

Shadow of the Vampire = This is a fictional documentary about the making of the legendary film Nosferatu, it is based in and around Germany in the early 1900s and is basically about the actor who playes the vampire actually being a vampire, its a good film in my eyes and is worth a watch, it has good actors, good special effects and a good storyline

30 Days of Night = This film is based in Alaska (I think) and is about the time of year when there is 30 Days of Night (Hence the name), during this time the town is attacked by vampires and the townsfolk have to fight to survive against the hoard of the undead until it becomes light again, its got great actors, a good storyline, awesome special effects and a good ending
